I Guess They Just Like Me

I met this guy a couple days ago.

I believe he’s a Five Lined Skink, and he was hanging out watching a couple pups who were trying to find him. Not my pups; this was a pair I was caring for while their humans were on vacation.

Little Lizard sat still even after they moved on, so you know me…I moved in closer.

This is what happened…

My third encounter this year with a lizard!

And then…

He hung out on my shoulder for about ten minutes. Twice I put my shoulder to the spot where I found him, but he wouldn’t hop off.

So I guess I’m the lizard whisperer, right?
