New Friend

I brought some plants back from Florida, thanks to Bonnie & Phil, and yesterday evening I moved them all to the front yard. I believe the cold weather is behind us; at least, I hope so. Because it was almost dark when I finished, I waited til this morning to water everything. While I was out doing that this morning, I met this little one...

I'm used to the little lizards scampering away when seen, but this one didn't. In fact, he or she seemed almost as interested in me.

I kept my movements slow & quiet and was able to grab several photos.

He or she was either posing or checking me out...

I was able to add some drops of water and caught this....

I held out my hand very still, and no kidding, this happened...

Thrilled! I was just thrilled. After sitting for less than a minute, the little one scampered away into one of my plants...

And now I'm chomping at the bit to get my garden area set up. It's a haven for the little lizards.
