Days 2 & 3

Tuesday night, we stayed in Vegas—at the Four Queens on Fremont Street.

Wednesday night, we stayed at the Kachina Lodge on the rim of the Grand Canyon.

I took a walk along the South Rim Trail, rounded a curve, and found myself standing beside this....

There were two of them, a Momma and her baby.

It’s now Thursday morning, about 45 minutes shy of sunrise. We‘ll watch that and then hit the road. Long stretch today, longest thus far of the trip.
