I'm a decent enough photographer, and I have my specialties in the field. Newborn photography is NOT one of those. However, two weeks ago, I had the privilege of photographing my grandson. Perhaps I'm biased--okay, not even a little "perhaps"--but I think he's the most beautiful baby in the world. Even if a #NotANewbornPhotographer was the one taking his photo. I didn't get very technical about it, and I didn't worry about the little details that separate decent photographer from great photographer. He's my grandson, and I knew all the photos would be perfect to me.
His parents are huge Florida Gator fans, though his grandpa (Jamie) swears he'll be a Bulldog fan. The hat was given to him by the hospital & selected from several choices by his other grandmother & myself.
Representing the Danish roots coming to him from my family...my little Viking.

He's a good baby, content unless he's hungry or needs a diaper change. Happy, happy! As am I.
I love him to the moon and back, and I can't wait to see him tomorrow!
The day was not without injury though. I worked barefoot and dropped the camera on my foot. Ouch! It hurt, and I felt like crying, but I didn't because I didn't want to wake the baby and miss the shot I was trying to get. Suck it up, Buttercup! (yeah, I know I need a pedicure--simply haven't had time to change my polish.)
Such a cutie patotootie! ❤️
And just when is it y.all are moving to FL ???
He’s precious. ❤️
